Welcome to the fundraising page for Wasabi, the men's Ultimate Frisbee team for Colorado College! The team was founded in 1987, and since then we have been a group of players committed to national competition and team culture. During our season we travel around the country, from Missouri to California to Chicago, competing in tournaments and getting better as a team. Over the years we have traveled to D1 nationals, D3 nationals, and this year we are building toward our goal to compete in semi-finals of D3 nationals in Rockford, Ill.
To accomplish this goal we need your help: as a student-run team, Wasabi fundraises in order to travel and stay overnight in hotels at tournaments, purchase Frisbees, and order jerseys. Depending on the success of our fundraising efforts, we hope to offset the impact of travel costs on our players' pockets as we try to reduce long drives in favor of safer and faster flights. We are incredibly optimistic about our competitive prospects this season, and we are grateful for any support – no matter how large or small – on our journey to nationals!
For $15 we will be able to buy an additional Frisbee for drills during practice.
For $50 we will be able to provide a first-year student with a new uniform kit.
You will provide us with ground transportation to and from a tournament that requires 20 hours of total travel.
You will provide the funds to fly one of our players to and from a tournament. This will give the players more time to focus on weekend assignments and papers, because we believe school comes first.
You will provide the team with accommodations for an entire tournament.
You will provide the team with accommodations and cover costs associated with bus travel for safe transportation to our next tournament that requires 20 hours of total travel.
You will provide us with the ability to safely send half of the team to our next tournament via airline.
You would help the whole team fly to and from a tournament safely and quickly without extended driving.
You would help us cover all our costs for the year!
