Welcome to the Colorado College Cycling Team Crowdfunding page! We are an entirely student-run club promoting racing, riding, and a positive cycling culture at Colorado College. In the past three years, the team has grown from fewer than 10 racers to more than 30 and we would benefit greatly from additional funding beyond what we receive from our fantastic sponsors and the school. These funds will go toward paying for race registration fees, travel and lodging expenses, and uniforms for new racers.
As a team we aim to have a broad positive impact on campus cycling culture, in addition to promoting rider development and a positive competitive spirit through collegiate racing. We organize fun bike-related events for the entire student body and strive to be an inclusive avenue for students to try out riding and racing in a supportive environment. As evidence of this effort, we are proud that much of the team is made up of people who had never raced or ridden seriously before enrolling at CC.
On weekends when we aren't racing, you might find us in the mountains riding our bikes anyway. We take large groups to new riding spots on weekend and block break trips where anyone is welcome, no matter their experience level. Through this side of the team, we strive to inspire students to become lifelong cyclists and continue to spread the joy of cycling beyond the CC community.
Our team competes in both the mountain and road seasons of the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Cycling Conference, as well as track and cyclocross races around Colorado and nationally. This past August first-year Ella Neurohr and senior Jordan Ellison achieved an impressive third-place in the Club Omnium at Collegiate Track Nationals. Hayley Bates '18 also achieved a fantastic fifth-place at Collegiate Road Nationals this past May, culminating an impressive collegiate career made possible by team funding and our supporters.
In the regular race season, the team has a great record of introducing riders to racing and developing them into competitive racers. Junior Eli Kranefuss regularly knocks on the top-10 of the A category in both cross-country and road events. Senior Paxton Hyde had never ridden a mountain bike as a first-year, but worked his way up to As in the course of his career. This fall, we had sophomore Maddie Strasser racing in cross-country As and Sarina Chalmers winning several cross-country races in Bs, and all of our female racers frequenting the top-10 in both endurance and gravity events. Senior Gabe Suszynski and sophomore and team-mascot Sam Bower also stepped up their game this year, achieving top-10s and several podiums in Men's C gravity events.

The team needs to be prepped for #jorttrack (short track) once mountain bike season rolls around again.
Pay for the race registration for a full race weekend. These might be a criterium and a road race, cross country and short track, downhill and dual slalom, or if you are a certain type, maybe downhill and then short track.
You know there's no better advertising than a cycling jersey on a collegiate cyclist as they send it off drops or sprint to the finish line. Donate $1000 or more and we will put your logo on our next kit and t-shirt order, as well as our social media.
