Colorado College Men's Basketball is a proud Division III member of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference. We compete against Division III opponents from all over the United States. Our conference is made up of teams from Texas, Louisiana, and Colorado. The Tigers are led by Andy Partee, who is in his 13th season as head coach at Colorado College.
As the costs to operate and maintain a nationally competitive Division III men's basketball program continue to rise, we ask you to consider a gift to our program to directly improve the student-athlete experience for Colorado College Tigers. We have several purchase goals on the horizon with the biggest being a basketball tour in summer 2019 to Costa Rica. Last year we raised $2,000 through this project, and we hope to build on that momentum for this crowdfunding campaign! Thank you in advance for your support and consideration. Your donations help the future generation of Tigers write the next chapter of success for the men's basketball program.
WHY SHOULD YOU GIVE?
Giving to our project will directly affect the student-athlete experience for the men's basketball players at Colorado College. We want to provide the best for our players and continue to offer among the best facilities, equipment, meals, and travel experiences that Division III has to offer. Your donations will help us achieve that goal and take the program to an even higher level.
The program has seen a steady incline of success in the last decade, with the following accomplishments since 2010:
111 Total Wins
65-27 Home Record in Reid Arena
72-45 Conference Record
Exhibition Win over Air Force - NCAA DI (2010)
Exhibition Win over Colorado School of Mines - NCAA D2 (2015)
We travel by air to many of our opponents since we are just one of two Division III programs in the Mountain Time Zone! A donation of $500 will help cover the cost of a plane flight when we travel to non-conference and conference opponents.
Foreign trips are expensive, but we see them as valuable experiences for our student-athletes that allow them to learn about a new culture, and grow as teammates. A $6,000 donation will cover at least two student-athletes on our international trip!
